Side Mirror Ditch Light Mount Kit (5th Gen 4Runner)
An OEM+ mirror mounted lighting solution designed to improve front corner and wheel well visibility beyond traditional hood mounted ditch lights. By placing the light below the hood line & clear of the front fender, it eliminates hood glare AND expands usable light coverage around the front wheels. This improves visibility during cornering and gives earlier awareness of wildlife on trails or back roads. Each mount is printed in PA12 nylon on HP’s 5600 MJF industrial printers, dyed black, media tumbled, shot peened, & finished with a matte 2K clear coat. PA12 construction is heat rated up to 175°C / 347°F, exceeding factory ASA material heat specs.

Which wiring harness do I need?
The wiring harness that you need depends on how you plan to control your lights and accessories. This kit is compatible with Switch Panels (SwitchPro/AuxBeam/SPOD/etc) but can also be controlled with a dedicated switch.
Compatibility Note: Due to insufficient clearance, the wiring harness that came with the Baja Design S2 lights is not compatible with the mount
Switch Panel: This option is standard and will include a custom sleeved wiring harness for your switch panel and lights
OEM-Style Switch w/ Button: This option is an additional $35 and will include a cut-to-length sleeved wiring harness with a OEM-Style backlit button, relay, and inline fuse
Which auxiliary pod light lens should I use for optimal light coverage?
Baja Design S2: It is recommended to use the "Work/Scene" light pattern.
Due to the diffusion of light from the Work/Scene Len's flood beam pattern it is recommended to use the S2 Pro over the S2 Sports as higher light output will ensure sufficient intensity edge to edge.
Will this be available for other vehicles?
Yes, we will be expanding this mount kit to other vehicles.
