Control Panel Insert Mount

Estimated Shipment Date: 10/07/2024
A mounting solution for switch panel controllers encompassing popular brands like SwitchPro & AuxBeam. It’s designed to utilize the empty top cubby space in the 5th Gen 4Runner’s lower center console & like our other products it was created using 3D scanning to ensure the mount conforms to every curve of the console perfectly.
However, unlike our other product this Mount will require drilling, but a drill guide will be provided with each kit to effortlessly show you exactly where you need to drill. The holes are also located inside the cubby space so they won’t be visible from the outside thus preserving the factory look.
The Mounts will be secured by 2 bolts to ensure a solid physical connection, so they’ll stay secure whether you’re on bumpy washboard trails or rock crawling!
These mounts are made of Carbon Fiber ASA. ASA is similar to ABS but with significantly more resistance to UV. This is the same filament which we use to make our popular High Clearance End-Caps. The added carbon fiber gives both a premium textured matte finish and a nice bump in heat resistance as well as overall rigidity.
**Compatibility Notes**
All mounts excluding the SP-9100 version are NOT compatible with the REGULAR Bottom Magnetic Cubby Drawer. Please select the "Bottom only (Insert Mount Compatible)" option if you wish to use our Magnetic Cubby Drawer.
The reason for the incompatibility is due to some controllers hanging low as a result of their large size & this causes a clearance issue with the current Bottom drawers, but the revised version removes the top sections to allow for sufficient clearance.
If you’ve already installed the Magnetic Drawer for the Top Cubby this Insert Mount can still be installed as the Mount's back does not reach far enough into the cubby space to make contact with the magnetic mounting plate from the drawer. You can also revert back to just using the drawer if the mount is ever removed.
**Installation Notes**
Ensure the drill guide is fully seated or else the holes will not be properly aligned with the ones on the Mount. The guide can be used as a trace to indicate where to drill or be left on to prevent the drill bit from moving about.
Do Not over-torque the mounting bolts as it can result in damage to the mount.
