Frequently Asked Questions
Do you ship outside of the United States?
At this time, we only offer shipping within the United States. This includes Alaska and Hawaii, though be aware that shipping costs to these states will be higher due to our Texas-based operations. While we do not directly offer international shipping, our authorized vendors and dealers may have options for overseas delivery. Their individual shipping policies will apply, so it’s advisable to consult with them prior to purchasing.
How long will it take to get my order?
Please allow up to 3 - 5 days for your order to process and ship. However, during high demand and new product releases, lead times may vary.
What is the return policy?
If your product is defective, we'll exchange it. However, returns of non-defective items come with a 25% restocking fee. The cost of returning any product will come at the buyer's expense. Report returns/defects to Minwin3D within 14 days of purchase. Ensure returned items are in their original condition.
Do you cater to vehicles beyond the 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner?
Absolutely! Our vision includes branching out to vehicles like the Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, Lexus GX/LX, Ford Raptor, Tesla, among others. Currently, as a solo operation, our bandwidth is limited, but expansion is definitely on the horizon.
Is 3D printing just for toys?
3D Printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing, does have a popular reputation for producing novelty items, much like woodworking is known for also crafting small decorations. However, just as woodworking can be utilized for constructing complex structures like homes, 3D printing has industrial applications.
The type of material used and the design intricacies are significant factors in determining the object’s suitability for end-use. While PLA is affordable and easy to print, it won’t withstand high-temperature settings such as inside an engine bay. More specialized materials like carbon fiber High Temp Nylon are engineered to handle such extreme conditions, including temperatures over 200°C.
Unfamiliar with 3D printing? Let us guide you.
Navigating 3D printing can be overwhelming, but we’re here to help. From determining suitability to selecting the best printing type and material, we offer comprehensive guidance. 3D printing, like any tool, has its strengths and constraints, and we’re here to ensure you understand both.
What is the difference between Resin and Filament (FDM) printing?
Resin and Filament (FDM) printing serve similar functions but operate differently. Resin printers use UV-sensitive material to build layers, while Filament printers melt plastic to form structures. Filament is generally more budget-friendly and offers a broader range of material choices. Resin, although often pricier, delivers near-isotropic strength, meaning it’s uniformly strong in all directions.
Furthermore, resin printers can recreate intricate small details & achieve higher resolution, making layer lines virtually invisible.
What materials are in your 3D printing portfolio?
We work with a diverse range of FDM materials including PLA, PETG, PCTG, TPU, ABS/ASA, Nylon and many more. While we’re currently unable to process materials like Ultem 1010/9085 or PEEK, we’re planning on venturing into industrial-grade 3D printing in the future. Additionally, we support all MSLA-compatible resins and are looking to incorporate advanced SLS resins soon.
Need a 3D printed item?
Certainly! We can print and even optimize your design for best results. Our emphasis is on functionality and end-use quality, and our pricing reflects that dedication. Please connect with us via email or social media to discuss further.
Inquiring about 3D scanning?
While we don’t typically accept standalone scanning tasks, our expertise in product development and manufacturing sees us employing high-detail Photogrammetry 3D scanning. Although time-intensive, this method captures impeccable details. We’re evaluating technologies like Nvidia’s NeRF to potentially enhance our 3D scanning services.
Any collaborations or sponsorship opportunities?
At MinWin3D, we recognize the value of meaningful collaborations. We are selective, ensuring that the goals of any potential partnership align with our objectives and values. If you believe that a collaboration would be mutually beneficial, we invite you to initiate a dialogue through our email at info@minwin3d.com or via our active social media channels.
We take pride in our past collaborations with several off-road shops, reflecting our commitment to uplifting smaller businesses like ourselves. However, our collaborative approach is not limited in scale; we remain open to exploring potential synergies with larger enterprises, ensuring that integrity and mutual respect remain at the forefront.
Regarding sponsorships, we would like to clarify our current stance. While we are not actively seeking to sponsor influencers at this time, we remain open to possibilities.
